Repository and Self-Archiving Policy

Al Qasimia University Journal of Shari'a Sciences and Islamic Studies permits authors to deposit versions of their scholarly work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other non-commercial repositories of their choice.

Authors may deposit the following versions:

  1. The manuscript submitted to the journal before peer review.
  2. The accepted manuscript following completion of the required revisions.
  3. The published Version of Record available on the journal website.

The journal applies no embargo period to the deposit of these versions.

When depositing the submitted manuscript, authors must state that the document is a pre-review version that has not yet undergone peer review.

When depositing the accepted manuscript, authors must state that the article has been accepted for publication in Al Qasimia University Journal of Shari'a Sciences and Islamic Studies. The complete publication details and Digital Object Identifier, DOI, must be added after publication.

When depositing the published Version of Record, authors must retain the article without alteration and include the journal title, volume, issue, page range, publication year, Digital Object Identifier, DOI, and a direct link to the article on the journal website.

The published Version of Record is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

The licence permits copying and sharing of the published article for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate attribution is given to the author and the journal and no modified or derivative version is distributed without prior permission.

Repository deposit must not alter the published Version of Record, remove publication details, omit the Digital Object Identifier, or permit commercial reuse without authorization.

Authors remain responsible for obtaining permission to deposit third-party material, including copyrighted images, tables, maps, and texts.
