Abstract

This study discusses the implications of lexical variation in Qur'ānic readings, with a particular focus on the phenomenon of Jam‘ al-Taksīr (broken plurals). It aims to elucidate the impact of such variations on semantic orientation. The study underscores the morphological significance in the context of canonical Qur'ānic recitations, especially regarding Jam‘ al-Taksīr. Employing a descriptive-analytical methodology, the research deduces that variances in the recitation of plurals contribute to differential semantic nuances, yet these variations do not alter the overarching thematic essence of the Qur'ānic verse.
