This study endeavors to delve into the intonation choices made by Ibn Al-Jazari, employing an inductive and descriptive research methodology to trace these selections throughout his literary works, be they focused on or inclusive of intonation-related issues. The ultimate goal is to present and examine these selections in a manner that renders them more accessible and beneficial to individuals engaged in the field of intonation and performance. To achieve this, the research relies on the analysis of primary and secondary sources to illuminate Ibn Al-Jazari's criteria for intonation selections, thereby offering a more profound comprehension of his approach. The study concludes that Ibn Al-Jazari's significant contributions to the evolution and simplification of intonation pedagogy are grounded in a coherent and well-defined approach. Furthermore, his selections serve to enhance the ease with which the Quran can be performed and recited.
