The current study revisits the linguistic analysis of the chapters of the Holy Qur'an, aligning with modern-day requisites and recent linguistic strides in Arab societies. It scrutinizes the four textual standards exemplified in the chapter of Al-Humaza (The Backbiters), namely: situationality, intentionality, cohesion, and coherence, emphasizing their pivotal role in analytical engagement. These standards are quintessentially Arabic, illuminating the noteworthy endeavors of scholars in grammatically parsing and semantically elucidating the Holy Qur'an, in devotion to the Book of Allah, the Almighty. Moreover, these standards delineate their vanguard position in applied linguistics, as manifested in their exegetical, interpretative, and analytical approach towards the chapters of the Noble Qur'an, including the articulation of the contextual circumstances of the revelations. Hence, the four standards, requisite for the eloquence, rhetoric, and clarity characteristic of high Arabic texts, were conspicuous in their understanding, apparent in their applications, manifest in their scholarly contributions, and discernible to a discerning reader of heritage, keeping pace with recent linguistic advancements.
