This research aims to shed light on the digital transformation and digitization of Islamic banks. By studying the concept of digital transformation, and stating its advantages and challenges, in addition to knowing the extent of the transformation of Islamic banks operating in Jordan in terms of digital, or what is called (digital maturity). Using descriptive and analytical approach. The primary data was obtained through the questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to the study sample, which consisted of (68) employees of Islamic banks operating in Jordan, numbering (4) banks, and the correlation coefficient was used in the process of testing the study hypotheses. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: the existence of a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the level of digital maturity and the dimensions of digital transformation represented by (digital technology, digital strategy, and digital maturity), and the absence of a statistically significant relationship at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the level of digital maturity and the dimensions of digital transformation represented by (digital developments, leadership). The study recommended that Islamic banks should develop a strategy for digital transformation, aiming at innovation, innovation and competition, in a manner that does not violate the rules of Islamic finance. Through the reality of digital transformation in Islamic banks operating in Jordan, the researcher found that there is no clear vision for digital transformation in these banks to advance the reality of Islamic banking, which calls for the need for such a vision for the banking system as a whole and its leaders.
