INTELLECTUAL IMMUNIZATION FROM OPPRESSION AND REBELLION AGAINST THE RULER IN ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE

Abstract

Intellectual immunization is a token of security for the homeland and religion. Immunizing rebels intellectually is designed to maintain the national identity and to protect minds from intellectual invasion. Immunizing rebels intellectually by the ruler through counseling and clearing misconceptions effectively enhance the nation’s security and identifies intellectual deviations. The study includes the de jure etymology of intellectual immunization, its basics, types of rebels against the ruler, the ruler’s obligation towards them in terms of intellectual immunization, the ruling on truce request, reprieving rebels, and their repentance. The study has adopted the descriptive-analytical explanatory approach.  It’s been concluded that the rebels are the ones who wrongly go against the just Muslim ruler, and that intellectual immunization has its own basics, including revolting against the ruler because of an injustice inflicted upon them precludes them out of the rebels folk, and the ruler is required to clear out the misconceptions using intellectual immunization, and that revolting against the ruler under the pretext of rights and rule labels them as rebels where the ruler must be supported against them. Here, I highly recommend paying more attention to preaching and addressing current changes, especially in the media.
