THE MIRACLE OF THE UNSEEN IN THE QUR’AN AND ITS IMPACT ON CREEDAL ISSUES

Abstract

In this paper, the researcher seeks to sound depths of the Miracle of the Unseen in the Qur’an, its manifestations, its impact on creedal issues and mysteries. In so doing, the research elaborated on the Qur’anic verses speaking on Unseen in the past and its impact on creedal issues, including faith in the unseen, proof of revelation and prophethood, stressing the truth of Prophet Muhammad’s Prophethood (e), correcting some creedal errors prevailing in life of both polytheists and the people of the book (regarding divinity, monotheism, prophets, distortion of the Torah, stressing the miracle of the Qur’an in speaking about the unseen). The paper also addresses the Qur’anic verses on the present unseen and its impact on creedal issues, such as the current position of Jews in Medina, their distortion of the Torah, the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad e and his qualities, their alteration of Allah’s rulings, how a Muslim should regard previous revelations, verses on unseen iterations about the hypocrites which reveal their hidden schemes, their impact on creedal issues and how a Muslim should not dare to label them infidels, while stressing that the verses on the present unseen furnish miracles proving the revelation and message. Finally, the research deals with Qur’anic verses on unseen in the future, regarding the polytheists, the Prophet e, the Qur’an, either already took place or not; as well as its impact on creedal issues, including peril and promise, the eternal foreknowledge and its harmony with the freedom of expression, preservation of the Qur’an, protection of the Prophet e from people and signs of the Hereafter.
